Alright. For this poll. You are to choose which character from Hanzo Academy that you want to be in a relationship with. You are free to explain why or not if you're too shy to do. To make things fair, I'll be separating the New Wave characters and putting them in a separate poll. With that said, have fun. For me, I would like to get into relationship with Ikaruga. The reason being is I love Ikaruga's character. She's calm, collected, nice, caring, and she could use some love. Her story is a rather tragic one as I can relate to her to a degree. While her relationship with her step brother, Murasame, is improving little by little as seen in timeline 2 (Versus storyline), it's probably still hard for her, especially when she was separated by her biological parents to replace him. She may see Katsuragi and co. as her new family but I want to be there and give her the love she deserve while helping her grow to be a strong shinobi. I want to watch her back while she watches mine.  |

For me, I'd probably go with Yagyu. She's one of those people who doesn't really smile all too often, but when she does, it's one of the greatest things. I'd love to help her learn to smile more. Plus, with her tragic past, she could use someone to comfort her. Plus I really like her character in general. The way she expresses her emotions is cute, & her relationship with Hibari is so adorable. Admittedly, she'd probably rather be with Hibari rather than anyone else, but I'd still be there for her regardless.

For me id go with Katsuragi since I feel like me and her could be chill and I would admire her for her bad ass moves and her way of the hand with some gold old fashioned momi momi! also a close second would be Hibari since she is just adorable, innocent, cute, and as sweet as the food and candy she eats! also I'm not a loli lover I swear lol

Wow, this is actually harder than I though it would be. I mean everyone of the girls has good points about them but I won't be that guy and say I'll choose all of them. I would probably go with Asuka. She's an adorable dork, she seems super friendly and she would probably be a good mother.

It's a difficult choice. I like Ikaruga a lot but I think I'd go with Yagyu. She's really grown on me a lot and I find her backstory to be quite moving. I enjoy her quiet, serious demeanor and how it can switch to something softer (typically when Hibari is involved). I also agree with Mario that her smile is really something when it happens.

After some thought and consideration among the listed characters in the poll (female ones), I would love to be in a relationship with Katsuragi. Personally, she has become my favorite character in the entire franchise due to her headstrong/confident personality, the amazing figure/body that she has, her wide assortment of punishing, brutal kicking attacks that she delivers with her iron greaves (boots), and for her perverted nature (at the expense of her Hanzo squad members, especially when it comes to messing around with Asuka or Ikaruga).
I think that it would be awesome to be in a relationship with Katsuragi since I seriously believe that she would be fun to be around, do stuff with (go to the movies, take long walks, do whatever she would like to do while hanging out, watch her kick some serious ass when training [transformed state, if I was allowed to watch], take out to meals, hang out with her and her friends [rest of Hanzo squad members, if allowed], go shopping with, etc), and spend quality time with. It would also be pretty cool to be with her and watch her rise through the shinobi ranks to where she had enough power/influence in that world so that she could finally accomplish her dream of having both of her parents (fugitives since they refused to carry out an assassination, leaving poor Katsuragi without parents at such a young age) officially pardoned so that they would be able to be a part of her life once again without the fear of being killed due to their past acts.
It also helps that she is 18 (at least in the Versus timeline), so I would not have to worry about being an adult in a relationship with a minor and the negative stigma/results of such a relationship happening.
I wouldn't mind being with either Asuka or Ikaruga either (if Katsuragi was off the table) since both girls are pretty awesome in their own rights (Asuka for her positive, clumsy nature and Ikaruga for her calm, cool, and serious nature).
These are my opinions. To me, pretty much every girl in the Senran Kagura franchise (old roster + New Wave rosters) is awesome in their own way. I just happen to enjoy Katsuragi the most out of the giant roster of unique characters that makes this franchise so awesome (apart from the abundance of fan-service).

I guess, Asuka for me. Putting her good looks aside, she has the kind of personality I could relate to the most when it comes to the Hanzo girls and the one that I believe would also be the most ideal to be in a relationship. I admire her optimistic, cheerful, caring and never giving up attitude. Having a person like that supporting you in a relationship is an important aspect. The fact that she will get up no matter how many times she might fall and that she is just trying her best to keep up with everyone is worthy of praise and a source of inspiration. She strives to improve herself and become stronger for the sake of those she holds dear inside her. I can understand that desire. She is a great example to follow and a good influence to people close to her as she can bring out the best in them. I have an interest in Martial Arts and Training so I guess that would fit with her type too !!!!

I don't think "relationship" is the what I'd be looking for, more like someone to hang out with. In that case, Hibari. Why? Cause she likes video games and sweets! I like video games and sweets! A simple reason for a simple person like her.
Although, Yagyu would follow Hibari wherever she goes, so she'd have to tag along as well. And while I personally think she's great, I don't think the feeling would be mutual.

Katsuragi. I'm pretty perverted myself when it comes to the female body, and she would definitely get that. She'd have far less sexual inhibitions than the other Hanzo girls and would be more willing to try new things I suggest, while coming up with a few kinky ideas of her own. She's one of very few characters in the series who I know would definitely play Senran Kagura games if she was real.
