This year, Takaki will make his first-ever American fan appearance at E3 2017 on June 15th. He will be there with XSEED, and one of the games they will be presenting is Peach Beach Splash. Guess that's when they'll give us a US release date. gematsu.com/2017/06/xseed-games-announces-e3-2017-lineup

strange they do that for a water gun game. well with the success of Estival on PS4, and liking the console so much, guess they are starting to market Senran Kagura on PS4 more strongly, to build anticipation for the next action game on PS4.
I still say XSEED is not marketing PBS to the fullest, in regards to constantly reminding people worldwide about the 800+ cards it contains, there are a lot of collectors that would get the game for the card collecting. and the cards should be a standard feature in all SK games from now on, with of course, not directly affecting gameplay, for PBS its exception, but they risk imbalancing the action games, plus having them just collectibles to zoom in and view, would let them focus more on balancing the actual gameplay and movesets, instead of figuring how how each card will affect gameplay things.
well maybe SK7 will have a tone more like Shinovi, and a lot more teams/ninjas added instead of just one team (which was actually not really a wholesome team since the Mikaruga Sisters were basically their own trio instead of quintet, a trio, with their old master and a resurrected ninja that's temp teammate, doesn't really match SK team standards).
I dunno, the developer really is not focused on one thing or another. even though Refle is a cash grab gimmick game, all that money could've been used to make the next action game even greater. its not like they have infinite money to spend, and they aren't getting any younger, and Senran Kagura series has barely developed. do they have greater ambitions or is Senran Kagura intended to be the Seinfeld/Lucky Star of ninja tales? SK has been around like since 2011, and its only taken a few steps forward. there's so much more they can do with it. but between cooking games and sexual harrassment, it's a shame they aren't aiming higher.

I honestly think you're expecting too much of this series. It was never meant to be this super-big spectacle intended to appeal to a mass audience. It's certainly not meant to compete with the likes of Uncharted or The Last of Us. It was always meant to be simple. Now, that's not to say that there's no ambition. Takaki simply focuses on making games that appeal to him personally first. That way, they become passion projects of sorts and he enjoys working on them as a result. That personal passion shows in his work, and people like that about his games. Personal interest plays a part in how these games are shaped. If it didn't, it would only result in half-hearted games that nobody would enjoy. Not the creators, and definitely not the consumers.
