Hello, new user PurpleFortune reporting! Call me that if you like, or Ashley or Amaya or something if you'd prefer something less awkward and/or formal. I'm a lesbian who spends too much time of my life playing games, watching anime or other shows and obsessing over cute girls (probably not anything unusual here) and I continue to hold an empty hope that one day Asuka and Homura will kiss.
Admittedly I first found this place a long while ago, though only recently had thoughts of joining as I delved deeper into this franchise. I've recently getting more and more into things, and having fun, but it's difficult being an open fan around the series with the friends I have. Can't imagine that's a surprise either. Honestly I'm more of a fan of the characters and the story. Like the fanservice is a nice bonus, I do love breasts. But I feel like the fanservice for me was a novelty that didn't last past the first game, if that makes sense. I was really roped in because I actually enjoy the characters and their development. Sadly, no one of my current friend group seems to believe me. It's difficult for them to see past the obvious bits and understand why I actually enjoy the series.
Point is, I figured with my newfound love of the series, perhaps it's best expressed among those who are already fans and can understand even a little of what I personally enjoy of this series, even if the newer games are, in my opinion, kind of "eh" in comparison to what drew me in. I hope we get along, and I hope I can actually work up the courage to do much here. To be honest, these kinds of forums make me nervous, they feel intimidating.
I apologize for my essay of a greeting.
