First of all, I'm not new here. I used to be a frequent user on this forum back in 2016, but I left due to a combination of a declining interest in the series along with other busy factors. Unfortunately, I couldn't access my original account on here because my original email account got hacked, so I was forced to start over and create a new account. It's nice to know that this forum is still active after all this time I've been away.
I'm glad to be on the forums again. Most people simply call me Moe, and I've been a fan of Senran Kagura since 2015. I'm also a huge Tales of fan.

Welcome back to the site Moe. Might be odd coming from me, since I am a relatively new user. Yep, site still is fairly active, though seems a bit slow most days I'd say.

So the site has died down since I was gone. I've noticed that most of the key staff that I knew back in 2016 are no longer around. Ayachi, Esare, Dilbert, and Leon. Poog is the only one I've found who is still running the site, albeit less often now. It's kinda sad to see an active community I had great memories with suddenly collapse like that.

It certainly does seem like it was great back in its prime. It makes me sad to scroll through some old threads and realize I jumped in a long while too late.

Yes, SIA was a very lively place back in 2015 and 2016. It had very friendly staff members, and there were no shortage of users coming on at any given time. There were even active Skype and Discord discussions too. Nowadays, it seems like the only activity on this forum is the New Wave thread, and it appears that users are coming on specifically for that thread alone. 2017 must've been a bad year for community forums. Many communities I have joined in the last few years have suddenly collapsed this year without warning. It's like the apocalypse has hit them or something.

I see. Really am sad to see me get into the series so late then. Now that you mention it, it does seem like the New Wave threads are fairly active, especially with people I don't see elsewhere. I never really pay attention since I don't play New Wave myself.
Is that so? A shame. I hope it is just a bad year and it will get a new flow of people or something then. I've not noticed anything like that since I really don't interact much online outside of this and one other forum I joined this year, beyond these two places I mostly just interact with old friends on Discord. I originally joined SIA to meet new friends potentially and join a new group, but yeah, it seems I was tragically late to the party.

Yeah, forums die super hard these days. We've been working on our new site for like 8 million years but we should finally be resuming work in a week or 2. The delays were e n d l e s s.
And sadly, I just dont have as much free time as I used to, so I've been having more staff fill in the holes. Its like a temporary stasis of sorts. Some people did move on from Senran, some people had disputes and moved on, and some people just had lives.
