wow, and the rumors of Senran Kagura 7EVEN being similiar to Monster Hunter sounds enticing!! I hate Capcom what they did to SFV, RE7 and MVC:I, and their neglect of series like Rival Schools, but Monster Hunter World developers deserve 100% respect for the supreme masterpiece they are making, even the oldest Monster Hunter fans acknowledge it as their most anticipated game. and newcomers are loving Monster Hunter World too. and the full version is gonna have even deeper customization and more open maps!! even a single world feels like an open world in itself!! seamless, so full of life, and 1000x greater gorgeous graphics than ARK!! and superior character faces, body models, hair quality, and overall aesthetics, thicc fans would love it too xD and there's very kawaii cat race called palicos!! so cute and helpful! and its great there's actually a lobby list system, not just random matchmaking, and attempting to join a room from the lobby list, doesn't force auto refresh if you can't join, you can just select another room to try to join right after! so its very time saving and very effective the learning curve is also very fair, tons of depth, but the more its played, the more is discovered and understood, appreciating the wealth of depth the gameplay and stuff has. Already hyped for the full version!! xD www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTKwaxo3BD5O2R5-ym0DvHeveS9_MMblO

It certainly does seem like an improvement over past stuff. Though I was never a big fan of Monster Hunter, and this doesn't really convince me to give it another shot. Frankly I hope the rumors of SK7 being similar to MH remain just that. Seems a strange and unfitting shift in style.

I've always been a fan of MH I guess it's the feeling of accomplishment you get from overcoming a challenge you think is impossible to do also I'm really excited about the new environment system

Never played Monster Hunter before, but i really like the look of this one, and enjoyed the little mess around in the beta, so decided to get it

The only Monster Hunter game I played was Monster Hunter Freedom United, and that was for only a few minutes before stopping entirely. It wasn't what I was expecting, since I got bored real fast. I figured it kind of was like an older Ragnarok Odyssey, but it I guess I was expecting to much. Anyway, this new game in the series looks so much more appealing and I seriously want to play it for looks like a much funner experience.

yea MHW is my first Monster Hunter game, and already obsesses with it, it's the perfect Monster Hunter game for veterans and newcomers, even fans that played since the very first Monster Hunter acknowledge MHW as a true Monster Hunter game. It certainly does seem like an improvement over past stuff. Though I was never a big fan of Monster Hunter, and this doesn't really convince me to give it another shot. Frankly I hope the rumors of SK7 being similar to MH remain just that. Seems a strange and unfitting shift in style. so Senran Kagura shifting to a cooking game (Vita), a water shooting game (PBS) and some excessively perverted game that isn't action (Refle) are not strange and unfitting, but going Monster Hunter style is? and Senran Kagura has yoma, a monster hunter style Senran Kagura game can be great and fitting if done right. and Senran Kagura has proven to be a franchise that likes to be different types of genres.

I agree. I'd love to see a Monster Hunter style Senran Kagura game. We could our own Shinobi and fight along the other characters (especially our favorites), while killing Yoma. A game like that is only around the corner.

I've already said my opinion on it in another thread, but to keep it short I just think it might be awkward. I would love to see the return of the Yoma, and see them do something with that, but the series commonly has battles with other Shinobi. I'd just be afraid of how they'd work in a MH style game if they're included at all, and I'd hate to see that go. Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying, I did not even mention PBS, Refle, and BA or say they weren't strange and unfitting diversions. In fact, while I admit to finding the rhythm game a nice novelty, you'll find I rather dislike PBS and Refle. Either way, I personally am not a fan of the idea, but we'll see how things go.

well yes it makes sense that Senran Kagura + monster hunter style doesn't automatically result in a great game, the developers have yet to prove they can be competent with the genre. though even Koei wasn't afraid to try with the Toukiden series (which is a like or hate sort of thing). still, they might strike it big with the formula,
though I still say a safer investment would be a Senran Kagura battle royale game. that genre is still fresh and all other battle royale games lack the charm of Senran Kagura universe.
yea action like EV would be great too for 7EVEN, but they really gotta make 5 players online co-op supported for its story campaign levels, and make versus modes playable offline too. it's absurd SKEV totally disregarded offline access for the versus mode, more would have purchased SKEV.
anyways think 7EVEN being action is confirmed, though remains to be seen what kind of action and how ambitious it is.

It would make some players happy to able to play an offline versus mode. I know would be.

I mean it's a nice edition for some, but it's hardly something that would sell the game to people.
Though honestly I fail to see any possible way they could make an offline versus mode without the camera or control feeling really awkward.
Then again, I suppose if you have enough people who would like to play couch multiplayer Senran Kagura, things being awkward isn't an issue for you.

Are you actually suggesting that the lack of being able to play versus offline, like couch multiplayer, was the a contributor to less sales? Are you really?I mean that not being able to play SKEV's versus modes offline with bots, definitely reduced its customers and purchase inventives. couch multiplayer would not make sense these days, even Koei is moving away from splitscreen for Dynasty Warriors 9. splitscreen degrades quality overall. however that is no excuse to not allow at least a solo player to play the versus modes offline with bots. they already have adjustable a.i. star level, you can set any bot as any unlocked character, it would be a great mode for offline players. without that, SKEV lots a valuable incentive for more players to purchase it. that is a fact. and the fact that when the servers eventually go down and the versus modes won't be accessible, people that did their research, dislike online only modes, dislike playstation plus requirement, were turned off by versus modes being exclusive to online. its the most asinine decision SKEV developers did with the game. and leaving the versus modes, which have bots, online only, is so short sighted and idiotic, that words can't even begin to describe the absolute stupidity of applying versus modes like that. it's like the devs learned nothing from Timesplitters, SSB, Perfect Dark, Perfect Dark Zero, etc. etc. which have multiplayer modes and bots, and the ones with online like TSFP and Perfect Dark Zero, still makes their modes accessible and playing with bots offline too.
