There are grabs and throws, Ken's Rage allows you to throw certain environmental objects like a concrete pillar and chuck it.
I do not use it much as prefer speed. In Bleach there are lumbering characters like Aizen and I struggle with them as opposed to speedy characters.

Grabs in a SK game would work well, throws not so much. Much of it would be how it is handled. Often a grab or throw mechanic stops the game and makes you vulnerable. In a group of enemies often you need to be moving or on the offensive to keep the advantage. Of course, I rarely block (reserved for bosses) so I never claim to be the expert on how to play.

I was thinking more like grab an enemy and throw them into other enemies or throw them up to continue combos that would other wise be dropped. SK felt so weird having all these fight games mechanics but no air or ground throw. Seems this would be a natural thing to add as its the only attack option left.

I would like your thoughts on it. Basically, I usually think Bleach games are garbage. This one however, seems to do things right.

I have no issue with people differing from me on tastes. What games in the genre do you like? Which ones don't you like? Why is that?

Well I play it at my neighbor's house, so renting isn't necessary. I looooove Dynasty Warriors, as it was the first game of the genre that I played (starting with DW3). I also love One Piece Pirate Warriors and Naruto Impact. Mainly because I love naruto and One Piece (also Bleach). I also love the genre because it makes me feel like my character is powerful, mowing down hundreds of baddies by the minute. I'm so-so on Samurai Warriors and DW Gundam, and I didn't care for Ken's Rage. SW is like DW but with less familiar characters (people, I know). I'm not into Gundam or Fist of the North Star.

Pardon my ignorance. There is a One Piece and Naruto game in this genre? I had no idea, should check those out.
Completely agree on feeling powerful mowing people down. Can be so cathartic to feel like a bad ass.

Im kinda on the other in as If I do it I would like for it to be technical as can be but still give me the freedom to pick the way I want to put down a group of enemies. I guess its my years of playing Bullet hell games and other types of games that wants the challenge reward and freedom but hold the BS fake difficulty.

I'm not a One Piece fan, but I'm getting it. Going to be the BEST selling Musou game again?
