Star Fox is classic, I can forgive that and also there's moderately high slowdown in Desert and Urban Strike when in a danger zone.

LOL! you are a framerate whore. I only need perfect framerate in my fighting, racing and or sports games. Oh ya and platformers like Mario. A word of advice, never play the original star fox if you hate bad framerate lol Indeed I am. I like to meet a player who loves lags/bad frame rate in their game. Tell me your reason if you're the one.

Ya Starfox is classic but I would love to play a remake with better frame rate. I that was one of the reasons why it was so hard. 64 was a cake walk. yu- It depends on the game and what it calls for. In SK im not going to die because of the frame rate But in the original Perfect dark I am. I wan't lose in a turn base game because of bad frame rate. I'm just as hard as you maybe more so. I can't even play games online if the frame rate is not like offline even games I really like, I can't or won't play them. But I try not to hold all games to such high standards I set for some because then I won't be playing anything.

Does anyone know the price breakdown between the LE and normal version?
These seem high so Marvelous should make out well on each unit sold.

Actually slowdown is good in bullet hell games (some slowdown not too much), the US version of Deathsmiles was nearly unplayable because of a lack of this.

Seems to be good news all around. The Vita price drop and Senran Kagura have led to lines at many stores. It is possible that Shinovi sales will be more an issue of supply than demand.

I lack official numbers to confirm, but it seems that greater then 100K were sold in first week, which is insane! This puts it in the top five with games like Dynasty Warriors and Metal Gear Rising.
Well done!

Many places are reporting (and English sites are seeing this) that it has sold 120,000 in its first 5 days on sale. www.4gamer.net/games/185/G018508/20130304055/Surpasses what both 3DS games managed in two years in just 5 days. The first question I had: Is Takaki really going to keep the main series on the 3DS and the spinoffs on the Vita after those kind of sales?

He painted himself into a corner and it will be funny to watch how he gets out because He can't really. he went overboard with the Vita game and there really is no going back to the "Main" series. Even if he made a similar game for 3DS he would have to use the biggest cart and really get in there and work on the game to get it running and looking good and that all would cost more then another Vita game and the game would not sell that much because now SK is a small fish in a big pond where on Vita it can now be a big fish in a small pond.
Most people are predicting an RPG. But that will bomb so hard so its hard too say. Or he can make a WiiU game since that has nothing and he can start the big fish and small pond strategy over again like the last 2 games.
Also I won the poll give me my prize.

If it's an action RPG like Tales, it would be ok, a fighting game would be the absolute best bet and a party game could work as well.

None of those would work now and they both would fail if they did not have the level of quality as the Vita game that means, Customization, online support, Patches and DLC support, and More content then SKV to be called the main series game. Its really not something that can be done without time money and more knowledge of the system and MAQL wants these games out quick so I don't see that happening. The thing is there is no hook left 3DS SK was 3DS boobs Vita SKV was Versus and Customization. SK2 ? Butts??? Loli's??? Hard to say what they can do on a nintendo system now that they know what they can do and where the demographic is. They can make a loli version on Vita and it would sell but would that work on the 3DS? hahaha.. Chibi.

I will wait and get official numbers, but all signs were good leading up, and still surpassed expectations. Lifetime sales will be interesting to monitor.

for some reason I have a feeling this will have long legs because it can be played international and its one of those games if you own a Vita you have to play just to experience the crazy.
