It looks so ADORABLE! I love how it looks like an actual Pokemon game (overhead look), but still feels like a console release. When I first saw this, I thought it would be like "Hey, you! Pikachu!" back on the N64, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a whole lot more than that! Yay!

Yay! it is confirmed mainline RPG. and it looks like its a new innovative class of standard Pokemon RPG, one intended for entry level/starter RPG for children and newcomers (and genwunners that want a more purified Pokemon, without the convoluted systems), and 2019 game will be for core/advanced players. so it is a win/win situation. the only announced game confirmed spinoff is Quest, so Let's Go is officially a mainline RPG and new beginning for the mainline rpg franchise with its RPG debut on console. and the GO stuff is slight inspirations but GO connectivity is optional. Let's Go is confirmed intended to be a home console Pokemon RPG first and foremost and like core RPGs is its own standalone RPGs. so mainline can reference the RPG series as a whole, but Let's Go can be seen as a starter RPG, with core being advanced mainline RPG.

Watched it being played at E3 and now understand it's like an HD version of Yellow Version back on the Game Boy Color. HOWEVER, they took out that annoying random battle that plagues all Pokemon games (though it works fine like that so the main games can keep that, except in caves). I'm curious to see Rock Tunnel and if it's still pitch black, or, like Leaf Green/Fire Red, have a circle of light instead.

haha, there's a whole outrage over the removal of wild battles, though yea, millions will get it anyways, lol.
now people wondering if there will be enough trainers to fight to stay entertained. and if there will be any challenging ones later on.
the funniest part is all the raging of the referee asking the trainer for a specific pokemon (the type the gym leader's pokemon is weak against), in order to be allowed to compete. well they gotta understand the game is intended for children and slow people first. I think they can still choose whatever pokemon they wanna use in battle. a specific type requirement just to start battling in the gym, doesnt seem a big deal. and maybe not every gym is like that
