Hello, name's Unknown, nice meeting you guys.
What really got me into this series was for a different reason... I was first exposed to the anime I never heard of, and watched Senran Kagura Ninja Flash!, after finishing it, I used to hate this series based on that fact alone, although as time went on for many years, I just keep asking myself "How is this series keeping up?" I used to underestimate the series as a whole. When I'm limited on playing games, I finally decided to watch "some" Senran Kagura videos, I really don't know what I'm getting into, but DAMN indeed, it actually proved me wrong big time, as I quoted some, I ended up watching more Senran Kagura videos than more than I should.
What really got me into this series is the success it has been getting over the years, this is really a series that 100% will never get localized, but SK overcame the odds and I'm really fascinated about this series potential, all characters are not original, but all of them are distinctive that it's really hard to forget, I don't see this ladies as some damsels, they're female ninjas who're willing to fight to the death, just to live another day.
This is just a niche series, but it gained so much success that other niche games could not, I really love Neptunia, but I'm just out of touch cause of the continuous memes and jokes it just drags for me. So even if I'm more of Command & Conquer fan, this series will have my support, I'm looking forward and want this series to run at least 2 decades longer, without Takaki, this series can't do much.
I might be wrong, I went on many sites to see the status of the gaming communities, but many got injected with toxic environment.
I thought only this community has by far the most respectful fanbase, I could be wrong though.

By the way, my favorite characters:
1) Yagyu - Badass when keeps her cool and technician in fighting style
2) Haruka - Looks like a mom and surprisingly technical
3) Yomi - Cute blonde powerhouse who can lift Big Show, if that's a thing
4) Ryouna - She's a masochist alright, but I like her when she used to be a savage in Shinovi Versus, serious Ryouna is more threatening than Ryoubi
5) Naraku - Loyal character, I really like her versatility and her unique combo setups
