Ah well, I'm here now.
I first heard of the series from a friend's signature on another forum a few years back, which led to me watching the anime. I thought it was decent enough. Then I heard of the games, so I went looking. I got the Versus games on Steam since I don't own a Vita or PS4. Shinovi Versus and Estival Versus are both amazing and I don't regret those purchases at all.
I do have a 3DS but haven't picked up any of those ones yet (currently replaying Smash 4), thus I'm waiting for Burst Re;Newal to arrive on Steam since I didn't play the original (I heard it's supposed to drop on Tuesday but I don't see it anywhere in the Upcoming area of the Steam Store... maybe I missed something?) The upcoming 7even already has my interest as well.
I'm not generally a fan of the fanservice stuff, but I do love the series a lot and I honestly cannot pick out a singular reason why. I definitely praise its boldness, and the way it breaks some stereotypes (Shiki is a huge example and I love her to death), and it's one of the few fanservicey series I've gotten into, another one being Hyperdimension Neptunia.
I've had a few favourite Senrans since I got into the series, and though it changes periodically, Shiki is my most consistent favourite, with Hikage not being too far behind.
Other minor things I can mention are that I like hard rock and metal music, enjoy watching combat robotics, and am generally a bit of a recluse. Yeah.
