Um, I just found out you won't be able to transfer PSN purchases, so you will in fact have to re-buy most of your old library. Another thing, what are they thinking having the system download games without your consent? Will they take money from your bank account or something?
Just more things I forgot to add.

It works with your smart device so you can buy games on the go on the recomend list they give you or you can buy games months in advance so it DL right to your system when the game comes out.
The ultimate in lazy ass gamer services. Don't get off your ass for anything now.

I felt this way for a while, but I'll probably be strictly handheld for a while. Neither the Wii U or PS4 are worth money at the moment, but maybe E3 will change my mind. I just was settling in with this gen, and now the new one shows up

None of the games really caught my attention. which is good in my opinion. hopefully the price for the console will go down before i see a game that makes me say "i gotta get that" though i know that's very unlikely

I will get this IF they got Neptunia or Senran Kagura for PS4. Else no sales from me.
I kinda dislike the semi-off/on function. Won't the system wear out faster?

Gundam vs Gundam Extreme Vs Full Boost should be moved to PS4 and be offered as a launch title, that'll sell PS4s in Japan for sure.

This is not a big deal to me as fine having multiple consoles in my living room (I still have the Gamecube and PS2 sitting there, next to the SNES...) Second part, they will "pre-download" games based on your history, they will NOT charge you until you click "BUY" making it take seconds rather than hours to download and play something. My only question is if these will begin to take up HDD space.

My only question is if these will begin to take up HDD space. That's not really the major problem people are having with the transfer information. Let's say you didn't own a PS3, does Sony expect those people to pay $60 dollars for a game that's been out for years? If you own a PS3 you'll run into issues where the system could crash and you'll have no choice but to rebuy the entire library of PS3 games on PS4. Sakurai is probably very disappoint by this news. His PS3 crashed and he lost over 10 years of PS2 and PS3 saves. The last part would definitively get Sony in trouble with a bank, unless you agreed to something in a redundant "terms of use" policy. I have to admit...that would be amazing to see and instant day one buy for me. And I hate to be a Buzzkillington, but I'm pretty sure SK will end up staying on handhelds now. Development costs would kill a company like MAQL. In fact Marvelous Entertainment mainly did DS and Wii games at the start of last generation.

Since there was already a PS4 thread I would use it...
Since we are a few months from launch, is there any launch titles you guys are hyped about and for the sake of discussion things you do or dont like about the PS4 currently and what are you looking forward to in the future for said console.
That and I wanted to know how ya'll feel about the PS4 being connected to the XBO via HDMI passthrough?

That energy bill
What I want to see is an XBO daisy change where one is playing a game.

Not too much more than what your paying granted both systems are not "fully" on, all the time. XBO so far only mentioned that you can do this, I'm not sure if multiple HDMI out devices can be hooked up to the console at once. I personally find it a little weird but symbolic all at the same time for those who like having both consoles. I only plan on supporting one of these two consoles at this time due to PSN actually requiring PS+ for online gaming is going to make me reassess how much money im going to be spending on my gaming budget monthly/yearly. Currently though there isn't any Launch titles that make me want to jump up and get it day one. Edit: the user interface has new Screensshots. gematsu.com/2013/09/latest-playstation-4-user-interface-screenshots
