Well, the paid Santa DLC is fine, checked it today. I do have one question though. Is any of the DLC not a substitute for a transformation? I was really surprised to see all of the outfits in the pack I got didn't apply to the pre-transformation option, only the post-transformation. That's... really, really lame, honestly. On another note, finally playing some more in English, and um... Is it just me, or did XSEED take some serious liberties here? My Japanese isn't great admittedly, but it's really obvious with some of Yozakura's lines so far. You have to remember that this is a localization and not a translation.

You have to remember that this is a localization and not a translation. So letting it go because they didn't it censor it then? Because that excuse is really little more than an excuse.

Er no, the point is that they adapted the script so it worked better for us and it was never meant to be a direct translation from the original. Tom has said this about the faulty DLC

How is Yozakura's lines changed? In dressing room? Her dielect sometimes makes it hard.
The first clothes pack was pre transformation too. Hopefully in EV they let you choose,

So I never got the rainbow panty problem but I tried downloading the christmas DLC, store seemed to be back up working but it couldnt download anything. It got Ikaruga's and Kat's outfits and installed but now SV wont run. Is this the problem and how to delete?
Edit: I got all of them now, thinking that that was the problem. PSN isnt acting stupid now. But it's stuck in the SV Checking DLC menu.
At least it works in BA. Hope it's fixed soon.

Er no, the point is that they adapted the script so it worked better for us and it was never meant to be a direct translation from the original. If there's enough of a difference that this needs to be said in the first place to excuse the differences in the script, the differences probably just shouldn't have been implemented in the first place. I'm fully aware that direct translations aren't always possible or the best option, but overly liberal ones are not only just as bad, if not worse, and at that point it's arguably (and that's a key word before anyone jumps on me for saying this) just another form of censorship.

We're talking about boobs here. How much could possibly be censored? I may not be exsposed to things enough to understand or compare, but I think what we got for writing was "exciting" enough.

I'm curious as well. The idea behind the dialogue remained even if there were some differences (you can't really adapt anythinr related with accents or language ticks)

I haven't gone through enough yet to say if the game as a whole is super liberal like that, but a good few of Yozakura's lines that I caught come off as noticeably less polite (or intelligent/thought out) compared to what she's actually saying. Been too busy trying to finish Nep RB1 before RB2 comes out unfortunately. And lots of life kicking me in the nads, but that's not got to do with anything here.
