If that's the case, clothes ripping = defense decrease. It could also be from combo size of damage within a combo Okay, we could could combine those two together.

We need a fighting game. I mean, the current cast is big enough to do that kind of game. A JRPG is not a bad idea at all, too. Especially if is done right, like Persona or Fire Emblem.

It really does have the potential. The cast is really big now.

JPRG, espcially Tales-style (2D sprites or 3D) is what in my mind right now.

I think JRPG Tales of Style can work as well. All of those playable characters and massive grinding.

Fighting game works for me, a hyperfighter like Capcom's VS games or your basic anime fighter like Arc Systems's Guilty gear or French Bread's Melty blood.

But of course, people overshadow it with mainstream games, but I digress.

I would be all over that. Adore Arc System's high quality sprites. Yeah I agree but since they are using actual 3D models for GGXrd, I'd rather for them to go that route. The game would look sick, especially with the zooming in on the cut-ins for Supers....man...im getting chills thinking about it.

You mean 3D models that look like their 2D. I admit, that's pretty cool.

the models in GGXrd are cell shaded but they are done in such a way it looks 2D.
generally i will always prefer 2D fighters, but 2.5D is pretty much the evolution of that...and maybe ASW is showing us the evolution of sprites since they did as much as they could with HD sprites(Blazblue). However on a visual standpoint, Skullgirls has the best 2D sprites in the business.

Oh yes, imagine Blazblue in 2.5D. The craziness.

Humm I wonder if Wave agrees with me on this....
If SK gets a fighting game, you think some of the character playstyles will be similar to this?
Asuka= Basic, easy to use, Shoto like character(projectile, anti-air, great tools to cover space).
Hikage =Close range rushdown, multiple overheads, good mixup tools.
Mirai = Zoner, keep away playstyle, has low health.
Katsuragi = High risk and reward, high mobility.
Ikaruga = Low combo damage due to hit scaling to offset high meter gain, can deal sufficient damage with supers.
Yomi= slow and defensive, has armor/guard points on some normals and specials, counter super.
Hibari= great mix ups, uses Rabbit summon like Eddie(from GG) to create openings, has bad defensive options to compensate.
Homura= Basic tools like Asuka, can go into crimson mode for a limited time at the cost of meter and red life.
Yaguu= ? <.............no idea....

Thats how most of there types are in the bust game except hibari. Yagyuu would have great ground control at all ranges but limited air mobility. Haruka would be everything she just does crap damage just like in the games. I would give mirai her float ability also. Yomi has too be at disadvantage after she uses her super more then any character. I would keep homura crimson her own character because they really play nothing alike in Burst already. Suzune great everything but air mobility. Dai great air mobility and power but crap range and movement on ground.
