Popplio is kinda growing on me now. I'll prolly end up picking it. Unless Litten's final form has a giant fire mustache. Then I'll be pretty hard biased toward it.

I'd be more worried on if they actually can fix up the game breaking mega evolutions and actually try to make it have actual difficulty again.

I don't recall any of the games ever having much difficulty at all unless you mean like the exp share in the last games. Which is something I prefer they stick with because I don't want to go back to tedious and boring leveling.

they sort have became more easier to finish. Regardless of the EXP. Share.

Not really. The only time they were ever hard is when they would toss in huge level gaps out of nowhere. And all that does is require you to grind more. Pokemon was never hard, we were just young.

Think if you're looking for a pokemon game with more challenge they would have to make something along the lines of the stadium games again.
Which I wish they would do.

There's enough pokemon hacks out there with difficulty, as well as special challenges I'm sure you're aware of.
Remember that GAME FREAK's actively ignoring its, clearly huge, older fanbase and continues to cater to its, 7 year old, target audience, I remember this being mentioned in a question on a possible Pokemon MMO. We're not 7 anymore, so yeah...
Also, Exp Share is AWESOME and allows you to actually use a larger amount of different pokémon in one playthrough without too much grinding; an especially welcome addition with the over 700 pokémon species they have found now.
Also, game breaking mega evolutions? I remember the occasional frame drop, but game breaking? o.O

I'm sure he means just the really op ones such as Gengar. I didn't play ORAS so I don't know if there's any offenders in those games.

Unless you're playing online, megas arent game breaking. Unless you're using them for the story, but like... If they were just slight upgrades, they wouldnt be so mega.

Ah okay so we are talking competitive play stuff In that, it is game changing for certain, as a new game should be, but not game breaking. By limiting the amount to 1 per battle I think it adds a fun new tactical element to it. Which one will you use, when will you use it and for what purpose? That you're forced to use one to play competitively only makes sense: these collection games (think also tcg's) always have these things. Deviation then is possible but generally requires a really thorough tactic (one that, in my years of Cardfight Vanguard and Yugi Oh I've been known to lack) of course I don't know, but since x and y I've been enjoying Pokemon like the first summer me and my brothers got a gbasp with Pokemon Gold again!

I assume he's referring to story mode with megas. But if not, honestly only some megas are game breaking in competitive Half of them are kinda worthless, like Mega Heracross or Ampharos.

Crazy talk. And yeah, Heracross is cool. If they'd have just given his mega a decent speed buff he'd have potentially good. His main problem is that he's far too slow to keep up with the metagame. :<

Well, if you're playing serious mode competitive, that's what the banlists are for.
Really, the OP ones are just obnoxious only in casual modo.
