Well Foxy this is exactly why i avoid game journalism it's a complete joke. When a game features an all female cast they always fail to actually talk about the game itself and talk about how it's degrading to women. And they try to make you feel bad for liking said game for example the Neptunia games. And lol at Dai-T with "burst". XP agree with you Ikaruga, i have a impression that only the west criticize and get butthurt because the female characters be sexy in a game like Dead Or Alive, i'm never see the japaneses get criticizing your sexy characters in Videogames or Animes and Mangas

heard about that garbage "review" earlier
damn, man how does a writer manage to show everything wrong with video game journalism in one editorial?
i try not to **** on opinions just because they're the opposite of mine, but that article... it's on a whole new tier of lies, bias, pandering and factual distortion

damn fox you are mad. never havr I seen this side. can't say I blame you because Nintendo dont care. Do i seem mad i'm just disappointed and i guess slightly upset but not mad. This was a great response BTW I just ignore this stuff as Joe quite clearly points out, nothing will actually come of this: Is Joe in pro or against Senran Kagura?

The big question about gaming and media is the extent one thinks it affects an individuals or societies behavior. Every time there is a mass shooting we hear how video games are to blame. Yet, it seems like the entire gaming community condemns this stance. Why? Well, my thinking is that violence is ingrained in gaming to varying levels because so many games operate on conflict so it crosses all genres and culture to defend gaming.
When it comes to sex or sexual themes there tends to be a different view with two distinct groups forming. One group (such as this author)makes the case that having anything sexual does affect people and society. It transfers that if someone plays a game like Senran Kagura they will then either A.) Have unhealthy body image issues B.) Have unrealistic expectations of women's appearance or C.) Think of women as objects of lust and potentially be disrespectful of them.
As a fan of the series I fall into the other camp that places freedom of speech highly and places trust or responsibility on the viewer or player. If you are a woman and Senran Kagura makes you strive for near impossible body proportions you are likely influenced far more so by advertising in general than a niche 3DS game. If you are a guy who expects all women to look like this you will either get a good dose of reality or be single. Lastly, I would argue any man who disrespects women likely goes far deeper than the video games they play.
In summation the author is giving Senran Kagura way too much credit on how it affects people and society. If people buy it or not really won't do much of anything besides affect Zen and XSeed bottom line and if more entries come over, it won't be the end of western civilization...that was caused by Rock and Roll if memory serves.

so neogaf and I guess 2ch blew this issue up and tweeted the producer. Basicly to make Nintendo look bad and to push for vita. I know he already is not fond of Nintendo and he even commented on the tweet.
bye bye Sk 3DS series.

Again just ignore this, sex sells and until that statement is no longer true, it will never go.
When a magazine says don't buy this game as it has busty girls with sexual content how many people do you think are going to say, damn now i really need to see what this is, and they will watch trailers and content to basically find out whats so bad about it and the funniest part is if they had just said about the game or this game is coming less people would of checked out more about it, the attempt to hide it makes people more eager to dig it up, this argument or outburst has made this game spread across the web more than a positive statement would, giving Senran Kagura Burst more coverage.
