I only got Murakumo's and Seimei's red outfits, since they're the only ones I particularly cared about getting, and now I'm working towards getting the Ikaruga UR+, since her outfits are available although it's not very likely for them to drop.
I'm also working towards that LR book. It's cool that they're making it Top 200, with these slayers I might stand a chance for once.

Okay, I've done Hard mode Rin in Challange mode a couple times now, which takes me 24+ hours/CP, and I haven't gotten anything out of the ordinary as a reward.
Do Rin's scrolls have a chance to drop, or is it just the silver scrolls that drop?

only the white scrolls, yes.
you make the Rin scrolls with the white scrolls
i've only had 2 drop. one dropped 2 months ago. another dropped a few days ago.
first one through intermediate, second one through easy mode

Yeah I've had exactly one white scroll drop ever, and it was months ago in Intermediate mode. I guess I'll stop doing Hard mode then, it's a waste of time.
Hopefully the option to build blue Rin scrolls will stay? I don't see myself getting 100 white scrolls this month.
Also, it looks like we've surpassed the 2500 comebacks(?) and there's still threeish days left, so I wonder if they're going to add more rewards for 3000 or so.

the rin scrolls will probably stay, yeah.
honestly, if you can beat it easily, hard mode isnt that bad. it's easily worth it considering you get the maximum amount of each item.
ive been killing the easy bosses first thing after reset for easy stuff, and then i do one intermediate because its all i can do.

I can only do one Hard Mode boss a day, whereas I can go through all three Easy and Intermediate bosses in one day, too, which overall gives me more stuff. If Hard Mode had a much higher drop rate for white scrolls then I'd stick with it, but unless I've been unlucky, there isn't much of a reason for me to just do Hard Mode.
At least this Rin gives me something to work towards with Challenge Mode items.
Also, are slayers taken into account with deck bonuses in Challenge Mode? Or is it just Hanzou, Hebijo, and Yang cards?

no slayers
although technically hanzo/hebijo yang are the slayers for the boss
falling was doing some analysis in the sia discord based on having only hanzo/hebijo yang vs hanzo/hebijo non yang vs having all yang but not having hanzo/hebijo but there hasn't been anything new. last i remember it's that the bonusss for having both is something like x9 unless i misunderstood completely which is likely the case

Alright, makes sense. I'm just trying to optimize my decks for this in case it helps beat bosses. As it stands, using 3 CP then 1 CP leaves Intermediate Rin with just a tiny bit of HP. So if I could improve my decks that would be great, but it takes several hours to test it, plus damage can be inconsistent depending on if a certain strong card gets beaten.
For example, I have a Yang Katsuragi LR that gives x10 if the deck is only Ikaruga and Katsuragi, and I have a couple Yang Ikarugas and Katsuragis. But I also have a Flash Ikaruga with the same deck skill but it's x12 instead, but since the deck leader isn't Yang, I'm not sure which deck would do more damage.
Edit: Okay I tried replacing two of my Hanzou/Hebijou x12 but not all Yang decks with Hanzou/Hebijou x10 but all Yang decks and they definitely did less damage to the Rin. I think it may be partly because some of the cards I used in the x10 decks weren't as strong as the x12 decks, but regardless, I'm sticking with the stronger decks for now.

i think it also depends on the strength of the cards themselves tbh.
if the cards are all maxed out or close to being maxed out, the results will probably change. but it's just too risky a thing to bother with. really not enjoying this since i have so few hebijo cards that are actually decent.
the Murasaki XR would've been perfect to have in this scenario, but their ways of getting scrolls to people are absolutely terrible. i don't see how they expect anyone to get that Rin to XR when the droprates for the normal scrolls are so bad.
Should've just stuck to having them be available as drops for people in challenge mode. but having a scroll that can be crafted into other scrolls opens up the ability for them to bring back old scrolls - now if only they would actually do that and not just hold old scrolls over our heads. it almost feels like the only reason they even bothered to bring out the Asuka scrolls back was because the only person to have had the Asuka XR to begin with ended up getting banned from the game.
i'm sure they just don't want too many XRs out in the wild (after all they're supposed to be even rarer than LRs) but i don't think this "only the top 5 or so will have the scrolls to be able to actually get the card" is a good or fun system. it does make sense since, after all, only about 50~ or so people get the reward LRs, but it's still pretty annoying.
could be worse. they could've been using the original system of "only one person ever gets to have the XR and everyone else is just stuck with scrolls they can't do anything with" like with what happened with the Asuka XR. but why even have the scroll system to begin with if it's just gonna be an inconvenience when challenge mode itself is already its own hassle to deal with
edit: oh yeah, one thing i forgot to add about doing intermediate vs hard mode
intermediate's drop rates got lowered pretty harshly. it used to be you'd get at least 8~ or so of the jewels and couple of things like a badge or hammers, but the droprates got nerfed into the ground. the reason i say hard mode is better is because, despite the massive time sink, you're getting so much more out of it than you would from doing just intermediate. the reason these drop rates were nerfed was pretty much because easy mode exists.
at best, you'll get only 3 jewels now and MAYBE sometimes you'll see the 6 jewels drop. before the change, you would almost always see at least 8 jewels or so. at best, i can make 1 SR jewel a day, if my drop rates for intermediate are good. easy mode helps, but only 3 runs of it means i only get at least 2 or 3 jewels from it, along with whatever i can get from my 1 intermediate. later on in the day, i can start another intermediate run and end it later on in the morning if there's enough time before the daily reset. if not, i'll finish the run up, and only do easy mode until my challenge points reset so i can do one intermediate run again.

It actually takes me 27 CP to beat Hard Rin, so I can only fight her every other day.
Anyway, for this event I was originally shooting for Top 50 since I had all those slayers and figured I might as well use them. However, not only would it take a lot of grinding to get to Top 50 (like, Top 50 was three or four times the amount of points from Top 100, and there was a huge dropoff from Top 60 or so), but I didn't really want the Miyabi prize, especially for the amount of effort it would have taken. So instead, I mostly just focused on getting coins from my Daidoujis, and trying to win the Ikaruga+ outfits, since I missed the first UR+ cards. I only got the maid one (which is the only one I particularly wanted) but it's cool that they're bringing back old costumes like this.

Hey look it's nuns again.
The cards actually look pretty good, and Miki got an LR! I honestly never would have thought prior to adding Senki Shu cards that she was the most popular. I wonder how they determined that.
Also, I don't know when they actually added this, but I decided to check shinobi communications for the first time in forever, and they've added Renka and Kagura. Dunno when that happened, but 60 free coins is always fun.

I placed in the top 200 last event and got the LR genkaitoppa. Which was the last thing I needed to get the Murasaki XR. With two XRs my deck is insane. The missions for deck power cap out at 750000 so no prize for 800000. The scrolls weren't actually that hard to get. The first event of the month has the possibility of getting 12 of them. You can get 9 of them if you get your damage in the top 50 against each Daidouji. I ended up at 49th for each of them last month. I didn't even spend any money, I used cards won with premium tickets. Premium tickets are getting even easier to obtain now too.

I was surprised too, actually. Not only are they finally getting cards, but the fact that one of them actually got a legend rare is pretty sweet! all i've got is Yumi's XR. i have Murasaki's LR that turns into an XR, and, if they keep with the theme of the girls' XRs being their first LR* ever released then I've got another one because of the fact that I have Miyabi's and Ryouna's first LRs. also have Rin's card at UR atm. debating whether i want to upgrade her to LR, tbh. just in case Miyabi or Ryouna's XR show up at some point with easier requirements. *not counting Yumi and Leo, who's first LRs were released during special events, and Ryoubi's, who's first LR was removed from the manual gachas and only comes back as a paid card during special events/for beginning players
