Maybe I'm in the wrong, but as a girl who considers herself to be a feminist, I've never found a problem with Senran Kagura. All the women portrayed in these games are very strong, unique girls filled with character. Yes, they are sexualized, I don't think there's any argument about that, but it's just the genre of game. Senran Kagura simply has women who kick ass, and have big breasts. I don't see a problem in that. As a bonus, many players of Senran Kagura that I have encountered are women. Obviously there are plenty of girls that aren't offended by it. // pls dont hate me for this post I'm not offended, but you actually have a great point there. Feminists never really notice the good personalities in the characters - they're strong independent girls, which is appealing to feminists but it turns them away with the big boobs and makes a hasty judgement that the designs are sexist when there's a more deeper meaning to it. Why do you keep saying feminist. Those guys are not feminist in the least and there has been no protest of the game by any female group. Please stop throwing the word out it makes you look bad.

I consider myself a male feminist, and I have to say that yes, the women in this game are sexualized, but they're also strong-hearted, strong-minded, and (for the most part) independent in their ultimate goals. They're not just 2-dimensional sex objects, but strong young women with clear goals in mind.

Im sorry I did not mean to sound angry just wanted to help you in future situations when this comes up because there has been no out cry from women about this game. This issue is people wanting to play white knights when women can speak for themselfs. I find this more offensive then anything in the game.

I said what Dai-T just said in another topic so i have nothing to add. XP I think people just write articles and forget that Japanese influence in western media has been dead for some time now so these stories no one will really care about and outside media will not care either. Now if this was early 2000s then I could see.

Personally, I thought I was sharing my opinion, but I had no intention to sound like a white knight.

Oh no not you I mean the guys that say they are against it or this offensive to women yet they in real life do nothing to uplift women. Games don't mean anything to real issue's. Women worked on the game and trying to get it taken out of the stores mean they don't eat because the game did not make money.

Equality between men and women?

...Oh, just a link to NL, lol. Anyways yeah that's the reason I joined here, after that article everyone kinda stopped talking about the game just to bash it and stuff. Even tried asking a question in the game's thread...nope, didn't work. Still love the site though, but sometimes I get ignored often. >.> (another example being the Pokemon threads)

Dai-T, tell me. Which games or anime series are the one that make look women like mere objects?

I remember seeing at least 10 episodes of that anime...Are you sure? The girls in it can fight and have character so I would not say that. An example is more ride to hell retribution since from what I've heard you save a women then immediately after that they have set with you then are.never seen again.
