I always get scared when I read things like this, SKB isn't nearly as explicit as SV, imagine the controversy once it's localized...

Yes but Shinovi Versus has one thing burst didn't and that is market performance history, which makes a big difference so its not really as big as a worry as you think. The one to worry about is Dekamori as that is worse and has a less correlated market performance history since the genre changes. Plus Sony won't fuss about it since like they said "It only does everything"!

I feel if us men can get fanservice, so should women. For example, the swimming anime Free! came out about 8 months ago, which is fanservice for girls. Maken-Ki! 2 also came out fairly recently, which is male fanservice. So I think these kinds of things should be equal.

Sadly, not a lot of people realize that there's fan service for everyone. There really isn't any objectification going around.

Agreed. Nice work person! Opening with these comments won't help the situation and put anything else you have to say as one sided and defesive. The best defense is to get knowledge of the game which many fans still lack knowledge on the series they want to defend. Never seen one defender mention the series is a parody of anime troupes and character types/ designs then list them off for people to see. Since fans lack knowledge the games will continue to be picked on. No on even said the characters are strong female characters by japanese standards and only female characters so the series itself is less appealing in even japan then more people think as idolm@ster and a bunch of other new properties are way more popular then SK because SK deals with strong women at the end of the day like tomb raider.

If you do need a stock come back if your posting on a forum and you don't know about the series just ask the person that is against it to recommend to you some killing games and fighting games were you beat women. And really stick to this until they give you answers. Now you have them on defense.

Maybe I'm in the wrong, but as a girl who considers herself to be a feminist, I've never found a problem with Senran Kagura. All the women portrayed in these games are very strong, unique girls filled with character. Yes, they are sexualized, I don't think there's any argument about that, but it's just the genre of game.
Senran Kagura simply has women who kick ass, and have big breasts. I don't see a problem in that.
As a bonus, many players of Senran Kagura that I have encountered are women. Obviously there are plenty of girls that aren't offended by it.
// pls dont hate me for this post

Like im totally going to base my wardrobe choice on what the SK girls wear. Lol
