My Favorite Fighting Game Characters (In No Particular Order)
Aeon (Castlevania Judgement)
They DO have to originate from a fighting game, which even though this is a spin-off I'm referring to, Aeon did. Aeon's actually the person who created the time rift the characters are in, doing so to see if there's a warrior from the ages worthy enough to take on the Time Reaper at the end of the game.
Peacock (Skullgirls)
I freaking love both Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry. How lucky that there's this little lass from Skullgirls to encompass those references. While not the easiest character to get a hang of, she's just so fun to play against with her overall fine-tuned arsenal from the Golden Age. That's All Sporks.
Raiden (Mortal Kombat Series)
Eat your heart out Thor, THIS is a god of thunder. Raiden really became a great character in Mortal Kombat 9, where he's the one who active triess to change the future to prevent Shao Khan's takeover of Earthrealm. Regardless of making things worse, he really shows how hard it really is to be a god. And I definitely got a "jolt" from playing as him.
Dizzy (Guilty Gear Series)
Just by appearance alone, I could see the appeal that Dizzy has attained over the years. Her kind and caring demeanor, alongside her status as a human/Gear hybrid make her enjoyable to watch. Her play-style also has an appeal and is a good place for newcomers to start with a mix of projectiles, lasers, and several physical attacks from Necro.
