Pretty sure all systems will get a game. The fact that it started on a nintendo system is crazy already. Thats the system that always misses out so that hurdle is gone.
Need to link everyone to the SK prototype thread.

Need to link everyone to the SK prototype thread. This current Nintendo is a lot more lenient compared to over a decade ago under Yamauchi's iron rule. There would have been no way in hell this game would have been released on 3DS if he were still president. Iwata has been getting the ball rolling now after fixing some past mistakes. But Senran Kagura could work out on both handhelds and consoles as platforms, given it has fun gameplay along with the fanservice.

Actually, I've been wondering. Since Death Cram is featured the most on the Shinovi Versus site, will they have the most active role in the game, despite having 3 other shinobi groups? Like Senran Kagura focused on Hanzo's POV and Burst focused on Hebi's, would there be a conclusion story where Death Cram gets the ending role? Also, could perhaps new Hebi (Miyabi & co.) be the next focused group for Senran Kagura 2/whatever the next sequel will be? Question, questions. Only time will tell, I guess.

Interesting find. There's only been 3 scrolls in images up to now. Perhaps that's a feature only for multiplayer? In all single player screenshots and videos I've only seen 3 scrolls. Actually, I've been wondering. Since Death Cram is featured the most on the Shinovi Versus site, will they have the most active role in the game, despite having 3 other shinobi groups? I think there'll be a balance between Gessen and the new Hebijou and both schools will have an ending in this game. It wouldn't make sense to introduce New Hebijou only to not finish off their story, which is the restoration of Hebijou's "honour". I think old Hebijou are the main aggressors and main enemies in this game. Yumi's reason for fighting Asuka is because their grandparents were rivals, it doesn't sound like there's any malice in that whilst new Hebijou want to restore honour by (I guess) killing old Hebijou.
As a thanks for all the votes in the recent poll Takaki drew a few pictures. I got confused when I saw the first one and thought Imu made a miraculous recovery from her place in last. Poor Ryoubi's being mocked by Mirai. Text above Mirai is: "Small breasts! Small breasts! Idiot! Idiot!" I can't read any of the other text on the images

Careful Mirai, Ryoubi may not take your mocking lying down.

I just watched the live stream of the events that took place on the 6th.
They showed off the anime opening for the game, it looks fantastic. Also. They had a section where they played the game. I'll just say that the game looks awesome in motion, really really awesome. It's a real step up from the 3DS games.

Plain clothed Daidouji. Hopefully this means we can change her clothes in this game. And that is Hanzou's ninja room. It's so much bigger than the 3DS's. Also, the unfinished opening sequence and the showcase of the game. Look out for: 6:30, gyro feature. 10:00, the star/shuriken to set difficulty level 10:55, Panty Battle 14:12, changing room features 14:48, you can touch/interact with the character 14:58, rotate the view to view more of the character 15:39, press and hold down on excess meat and you can drag it around. Also you can flip up the skirt 16:25, slide your fingers on the front and back touchpanel to tear away the clothes 18:15, initiating inochikake mode 19:25, Asuka's secret move looks a lot cooler now

Can someone explain what inochikake mode exactly is/does? I've only found out about Senran Kagura a month ago so I don't know a lot yet.

Inochigake (I keep misspelling it Inochikake), 命懸け, means 'risk ones life' and is the mode where the character's clothes burst off and they fight in their swimsuits, their attack power increases but defence decreases a significant amount. At 4:20 in that video Ikaruga enters the mode. If you can read the Japanese it explains it in the video

Hibari is even more fun to use than in the last two games.
February please come sooner. I wish they tested the clothing damage all the way, it not being shown may mean two things either 1. blanks (no nipples but uncensored except for the usual spot) and/or 2. It couldn't be shown on an actual live broadcast.
