I doubt there will be a PS3 release of Shinovi Versus as there's already a PSN release for the Vita, but the Orbis having a sequel with a PSN download is not off the table, chances are it could have an English and Korean sub option for a wide release.

www.famitsu.com/news/201301/10027009.htmlIn this work a third secret move "Absolute.Secret Move" has been added. Asuka's "Absolute.Secret Move" 'Toad Summon' Mid-air battles You can launch your opponent into the air and then continue your attacks in a flurry. In the previous games you could do this, then after delivering a final attack it would stop. This time, during this mid-air flurry of attacks you can press a special button to do something new: 飛翔乱舞合閃. When you invoke this you press the buttons. I believe it says 'barrage' which would mean button mash. The rest is a description of the multiplayer battles. The damage indicator only shows in battle mode. Not sure what that means. Essentially: The more panties you collect the stronger you become but the slower you become. Single player parameters do not carry across to multiplayer. MP has fixed parameters. Indicated by a star there are 5 levels with the fifth being the strongest. In the 4 player battles you can have free for all or 2v2 tagmatch battles. If you don't have enough people you can use CPU. You can even play multiplayer by yourself.

I'm glad single player parameters don't carry over, think of the level disadvantages and stuff..
I like the play by yourself option for MP, it would be good for practicing.
Is this worth $85-$110, well yes it is.

I simply mean if Sony cannot find a way to at least maintain the gap in 2013 you have to wonder how many new titles will start development for the Vita.

Has Ryouna's (and MAKO's) voice clips been translated yet? I wasn't sure if I'd missed it or not.
Also, when it comes to translating the new clips for Asuka, should they go into her character thread in the first game's board, or somewhere in this game's section instead?

The threads were ment to cover the character across all games and were just placed in the first game they were first mainly featured or playable, however this is a democracy so if people think another method is better then it shall be so oh and i dont think so or did i miss them too

I gotta agree. After Shinovi Versus and all the content and improvements it brings to the table, it's hard to imagine the series continuing on the 3DS. But, hey, maybe they have some tricks up their sleeve. The next trick up their sleeve should be an apology by releasing the next games in the series on the Wii U, for not telling us the whole truth. That should be enough power for Mr. Liar Liar, Pants on Fire.

Comments from the producer (from the earlier magazine pictures) The rendition of secret moves now look more powerful. Depending on which secret move you use, the top or bottom part of the enemies clothes will be destroyed. The 'Absolute' secret move destroys all of the enemies clothes. You can invoke Inochikake mode whenever you want. (There's one about main characters who're bosses appearing in school clothes but I'm not too sure about that translation.) Quick recap on the different modes in the first two games before I carry on. When you start you have nothing. As you progress, your 'You' red bar increases. When it's full you can then select 'Youran' mode for use in battles. When you enter a mission it allows you to enter Inochikake mode, which is also 'In' mode, by pressing L+R before the mission starts. Your clothes tear off, your strength increases and defence decreases. When the bar is full you unlock 'Inran' mode to select for in battles. When both Youran and Inran bars are full you unlock Senran mode. This is essentially the same as Youran but you're more powerful and you can do the mid-air combo infinitely. Someone's put this on 2ch for the different modes in SV. Fighting in your uniform "Sen" mode, perform ninja turnover to enter "You" mode, for Inochikake: "In" mode. Mastering 'You' mode, after ninja turnover your abilities rise and your health recovers. Mastering 'Sen' mode, you can't use secret moves but you gain more experience and money, you can also infinitely perform mid-air combos. Mastering 'In' mode, attack power increases threefold, secret moves and limit breaks also increase in power. Defensive power is lower than normal. Inochikake mode: strip off all clothes, defensive power decreases whilst attack power increases. You can invoke this whenever you want. You press the R button, then place your thumbs on the screen and spread them. It seems to be the same as the previous games but I don't understand why Senran mode is in normal clothes and doesn't allow you to use secret moves. It'd be nice if someone who was better at translating looked at it in the magazine, I'll just have to wait until the game comes out before I can make sense of it.

Well the 3DS games did not cost much and most of the money went to promotion. Game was originaly expected to do around 10-20k max so dev cost was not that high and second game dev cost was lower for a higher return so this is the first game where they are you can say spending real money. Original game was going to be a DW type game so many concepts im sure where able to fianally be used. The Vita game has a lE and higher price and DLC because they know they can get that money back over there so it does not matter how much they put in the game when you have other ways to make that money back.
@zoro- You have to remember Senran always had some infinite ability or gave you the use of more things like limit breaks so Im sure its to off set and balance the system. Think about infinite abilities in multiplayer you have to restrict this mode some how.

Just like I was saying, where do they plan to go next? If it was really about power, then they just shot themselves in the foot. They can't just take a step back with new innovations and ideas. They said the series will continue on the 3DS because that's where the main series is.Hinata: What does a change in gameplay have to do with the models? The 3DS is fine with models. They could have just used the same models from burst. I think you mean the frame rate. They or him (Takaki)? And you believed they / him after all those lies on what contents are going to be in Burst? Burst is also lagging like crap by just being a line beat em' up. Imagine using PS VITA quality models and the 3D environment for it. I tried the Samurai Musou 2 for the 3DS, the character creation have awesome high quality models, but when it comes to the gameplay part, the model quality got toned down into something like a PS1/2 models. If the game goes back to 3DS it will be 2 things only a fighting game or a purely fanservice game where they don't have to worry about frame data and crunching numbers but they can have all the features and maybe top VS on just the fanservice level. Thats it only 2 options they have. RPG won't sale and I doubt they will take the time for that. As far as action goes don't see that happning on the 3DS again.

A fighting game would be nice but a "purely fanservice game" may or may not click for me, if it's anything like DOA Beach Volleyball or a dating sim, I'd have to pass on it. now if it's like Mario Party count me in, there's so much fun to have with Senran Kagura with Mario Party style gameplay.

Hinata: What does a change in gameplay have to do with the models? The 3DS is fine with models. They could have just used the same models from burst. I think you mean the frame rate. I know the difference between framerate and models. Burst uses less models on screen than Shinovi Versus. More models on screen means less quality models. I have Samurai Warriors, and I have seen the other two musou games on 3DS, and I can tell you that the models aren't that great. Remember, a system has to render almost everything at once if there is not sectioned off areas. I mean, they could compensate with an awful draw distance, but that would suck.

Given Japan's line up of 3DS in 2013 (Dragon Quest VII remake, Monster Hunter 4 and gen 6 Pokemon) I am beginning to seriously wonder how much of a market will be there for Vita. Power is nice, but this is ultimately a business. Personally, may be Shinovi Versus could see PSN release for PS3 down the road. Make it easier to go world wide (no voice dubbing required that way either). We shall see, 2013 will determine a great deal in the hand held market. Senran Kagura is a series that just needs text translation imo. As for the upcoming Vita releases; hotrod; Considering the Wii-U's sales, and the fact that it's a console, I doubt Senran Kagura will go there. Japan loves their handhelds.
