I'm fairly new to the forums, but I've been here long enough for the vast majority of active users to be familiar with my screen name. My real name is Woodie. I also go by "Eska", thanks to Esare my senpai. My ethnicity is black, and I am 21 years old. I am also an achievement whore. Nothing feels better than collecting trophies, achievements, and now BADGES! (Soon Soon) As you can already tell I am a Weeb/Otaku and take great pride in it. I am not shy in the slightest and I like to socialize on the internet. However, in day to day life publicly, I am quite the extrovert. I do martial arts on my spare time. I have been training since I was 11. I am also an artist, and make my own music. I am very passionate about it. I am a fanatic over waifus, and Dragonball Z. Uhh, My favorite kind of games is Racing, Fighting, And RPGs. I'm not sure what else to say about myself. I LOVE TAKAKI! BEWBS IS LIFE, AND ASS IS THE HOMETOWN BABY! A fellow Martial Artist? Which Art do you practice? Also, #FightingGenreMasterRace !!!!

It is never too late to train your mind and body. Since you enjoyed them, I definitely recommend getting back at it if possible as the experience is really something else. Which Art have you been practicing?

i'm Jordan, 23 year old guy from the UK, newbie on the forums and Senran Kagura, been intrigued of the series, but held off giving it ago [How silly of me]. Finally just said f**k it and bought Estival Versus couple of weeks ago and have not stopped playing it, got that hooked I stopped playing Nier: Automata to finish EV and platinum it [nearly there ], have become addicted to Senran Kagura, also bought the Ninja Flash DVD, and kinda wish there was more Episodes/Films of Senran Kagura. Love playing Video Games, listening to Heavy metal \m/ [Black Sabbath fav band], and walking out and about, and recently decided to attempt to learn Japanese, as Japan is my most wanted destination to visit, and I've always been interested in the Culture, Scenery etc, no idea why it is though.

Hey there, welcome to the forums! What are your thoughts on Nier: Automata? I'm still working my way through it. Also, if you do make it out to Japan, you'll have a blast! You can get by easily in the Tokyo area without knowing any/much Japanese, though it does help to be able to at least read a lil bit. If you ever need any travel tips, feel free to hit me up!

Its good so far, not sunk many hours into it yet, due to SK: Estival Versus, but i'm liking the Hack n Slash type Combat, visually beautiful, but doesn't beat Horizon Zero Dawn in that department for me that game was EPIC! loved every min and got the platinum trophy for it, so I do recommend Nier: Automata... and Horizon Zero Dawn i'm Jordan, 23 year old guy from the UK, newbie on the forums and Senran Kagura, been intrigued of the series, but held off giving it ago [How silly of me]. Arbiter I hear you on that. I started Horizon: Zero Dawn and am maybe... 20-30 hours in? Feel like I've barely scratched the surface, but I really enjoyed the time spent on it. Problem for me is there's just so many games coming out lately, I barely have the time for any one of them, let alone all of them. Though I guess that's a good problem to have.

Major bump? I mean, we have a Discord, but I feel like I should leave something here so people can actually get to know me. And after browsing through some of the earlier posts here, I feel a little better about my age. I'm Kody and I live in Canada. I just turned 30 a few days ago, so... looking forward to that midlife crisis any day now. I'm an incredibly socially inept nerd who loves (almost) anything related to Pokemon, robot combat, and rock/metal music. I remember watching shows catering more towards the magical girl (or just the female crowd in general) audience, because some of the characters were attractive. That weirdness hasn't left me yet. More recently (or however 'recent' 7 years ago is), my ex-girlfriend got me to watch a Sailor Moon marathon and I fell in love with the Witches 5 (specifically Tellu). And to this day I still love those dorky girls. I love robot combat shows like Robot Wars and Battlebots, and I even admin a board dedicated to fanfic versions of that stuff. The community is pretty tight knit and are all a bunch of lovable goofs, but they can be quite feisty when competing with each other, heh. As for Senran Kagura, my god. I love it. I believe I mentioned this in my introduction thread, but there was a board where the forum admin had a Katsuragi avatar and a sig with Hanzo Academy in it. I messaged him about it, and he suggested I watch Ninja Flash. It was good, but mostly I was taken with Hikage. Then I heard about the games. I got Shinovi Versus on Steam, but since my computer was pretty subpar, I had trouble with it so I stopped until I managed to buy a computer that could actually run the game well. Then when I did, I picked up Estival Versus and skipped straight to that for some reason, then went back to Shinovi Versus. That's when I fell for Shiki, while also appreciating Hikage and a few others a lot more. The mobile stuff was by-the-by for me, unfortunately, since I'm one of the few people in the world who still doesn't have his own personal phone. I have seen some of the girls introduced in New Wave, but honestly I feel I would appreciate them more if they were in a game I was able to play, and get a feel for them. Besides Senran Kagura, I love (as mentioned) Pokemon, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Soul Calibur (getting the 6th game soon!), and a few other series. I've been playing through Grand Theft Auto 5 again recently so that's been fun. I'm mainly a PC gamer, though when I have my 3DS out it's mainly for Pokemon. I never had a chance to really get the Senran Kagura games for 3DS though so I appreciate the refresh of Burst being released for PC soon... not happy about what Sony's doing, though, but I won't debate that here. I've been a hard rocker/metalhead for... upwards of 10 years? My parents got me into classic rock very early on, but since then I've gravitated towards more modern offerings. My current favourite band is Breaking Benjamin. Ember is one of the best albums I've ever listened to. On a more serious note, I took video game programming in college when I was 24 but since graduating, I've found that the field is very hard to get into and I haven't been able to take advantage of the few chances that came up. Regardless, I'm still looking. At the moment I'm still at a factory while trying to help my parents get by since their lives haven't been going very well. That's kind of too personal so I won't get into it. All I'll say is that I don't really have the greatest self-esteem in the world since I feel like I haven't 'gotten' anywhere yet. I have a few things that I deal with on a day-to-day basis such as ASD, ADHD, and, OCD, but my parents have epilepsy so they have way worse problems than I do, which is another reason I look after them. I love my parents very much. So... yeah. Kinda old, socially awkward nerd that loves SK, Pokemon, robot combat, and rock/metal, and has problems to deal with, just like a lot of people. Oh, and uh, Shiki is best senran bae, and Tellu is best non-senran bae thanks to Sailor Moon marathon.
