doesn't know what's going on in current discussion....
Interested in playing Ikaruga's Bother...with his Kusari-gama is instant hype for me.
I'm kinda hoping that the girls from Shinovi Versus makes into the playable cast of SK2.
Anyways i'll fade back into the shadows...

It does but too much at one time has its drawback. Stop whinning and read what the game has to say, at least you could understand your walls of text. doesn't know what's going on in current discussion.... I don't mind the visual novels parts. It reminds me to Metal Gear Solid in a way.

The only issue for me was reading manga and watching anime and being familiar I knew what was going in many text sequences. For those new to it could see it being more interesting.

I think it maybe 1 of 2 reasons. Either their own style of delivery or budget.
The VN style of text delivery is on of the easiest ways in delivering that information to move the plot along without having to spend alot of time in story boarding individual skits or story sequences, though SK does have those also....but not as much as say Disgaea, Neptunia or a Tales game.
Budget wise, it's also cheaper to have text laid out on artwork than to render characters in game and talking out the same skit or cutscene like in Persona 4 for example. While I'm someone who doesn't mind full walls of text to convey a story, others may not have the same imagination in drawing the mental image that they are trying to paint to the reader and would rather have it shown to them instead.
My personal opinion is that I kinda wish for more cutscenes in SK, ranging from both action scenes before and after battles and ones with characters just dicking around. The sad truth of what I was discussion with my friend the other day was that the games I play the most are handheld games...and it's sad that most of those games are being held back by graphical limitations, unlike console games which just jumped into 8th generation with new graphical power. It would be interesting to see the full extent of the developers vision if they decided to develop a game for home console granted that they could put in everything they wanted that they couldn't put in the handheld game.
@leon, im not going anywhere~ lolz

I find it a pretty interesting thing to think about, what would SK look like in full native 1080p HD.
<Back to topic>
Interesting in seeing the full depth of the new Tag system though.
Though I have a feeling that it's going to be this...
Light Attacks > Heavy Attack Launcher > Light attacks > Tag > Light attacks > Heavy Attack > Air Super.

It will be somewhere I got the SV in June though it was deer (not eBay) CD Japan does and as of now, they are my only hope. *clasps hands together.* Should that fail, hopefully I can find a different vendor. Worse case scenario, I'll wait for someone to price gouge me upon release..... :X
