Just kinda curious. After reading a long enlightening converse about the series, this idea found it's way in my head.
As tradition, I'll start. It was about 2 years ago, when I first discovered this series. I was in my room watching YouTube videos on my now busted tablet. Somehow I found a video of the Shinovi Versus and I thought, "woah, woah, woah! What's that?" And so began my interest in the series. To be totally honest, it was the fan service that got my attention, but as I paid more attention to the series, it was less about the Life and Hometown and more about the story. I was like 14 at the time so..........yeah. Awkward.
Anyway, uh, feel free to share your story. Or not. Meh.

Saw the game (Burst) in the eShop and since I like anime style and narrative and liked the design of the characters when I first saw them.
It wasa completely "blind" buy. I never read or watched anything about Senran Kagura before playing it.
I never regret the decision of playing this game. Ever.
I didn't have any type of expectation about the gameplay or the story, I just wanted a game with action and cute girls on my 3DS and Burst seemed perfect to fill that role. Then when I started playing I was surprised in how much fun the game gave in a lot of areas specially the story, characters and music.
Now I'm making my best to buy a PSVita to play more of the series.

When were released the first Senran Kagura, 2011? right? Since before that, at the "andriasang" site now R.I.P., was the site when more hype created about the series, also the lacking of games at the 3ds system. I remember when the 3ds was announced and mostly of the fan images were boobs popping the screen, and then appeared the game... that was a faster Code of Princess with all female cast, flashy moves and sexy transformations. Everyone at the time felt in love with the game and mostly were demanding localization, but at that time was impossible due being a niche series and their sexy content , and took MANY YEARS. But yeah, the "andriasang" guys were the most motivated about the series, after that were taken by the Siliconera guys. I do have drawings of the Senran Kagura girls before the game was localized too, the game was not known at all and the chances to being localized were almost zero at that time, almost regretted getting an US 3DS and not getting the Japanese one. This one was from March of 2013: akira-hikari.deviantart.com/art/Yomi-Senran-Kagura-362527809At that time were not a lot of art over the internet , so drawing fanart was hard at that time. Also 4 years before... THE PREDICTION! andriasang.com/comxhi/senran_kagura_ikki_tousen_crossover/

After getting a PSVita back in September, I started looking for Vita games on Amazon, and I eventually noticed Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus Let's Get Physical Edition in the suggestions section. That's how I first learned about the series, and I decided to do some research on it out of curiosity and look at gameplay videos.
I then checked out the Senran Kagura anime back in January of this year to help give me a better idea on the series, and found it and the characters surprisingly enjoyable for the most part. This is what made me decide to follow the series more actively, and good thing too, since I needed a new franchise to follow after my last few have been disappointing me lately. I then gave the mangas a look, and thought they were pretty nice (they helped make Hikage one of my most, if not, my most favorite SK character). I then bought SV back in February, which makes it my first SK game.

I'll be blunt. I first found out about this series when I was on Gelbooru, and saw a picture that one of my favorite artists drew (Dodidu or Shuz). When I first saw it, I was like "Whoa, this is adorable and sexy as hell!", and it was. And then I did some research and found out that it was a video game. Did some more digging around for information, saw some gameplay of the very first game, and then realized that this was the game for me.
In short, came for the boobs, stayed for everything else.

Saw the original game on sizzle reel for 3DS games. Liked it and went to old XSeed forum to ask for localization and met folks and eventually came here.

I was aware of the series for a while, tried the anime and wasn't impressed, but then I was looking for Vita games and I ended up importing Shinovi back when it looked like the series had no hope of localization. Gameplay was fun, characters were enjoyable, and here we are now with me having the import SV, Burst, SV's LE, BA on my download list to be played in the future, and far too many hours on NW.

I knew about the Senran Kagura series before, but I didn't get into until recently. I mostly became intrigued by Shinovi Versus.

Same reason actually.I saw a gameplay video about Shinovi Versus and the fact that they were gorgeous ninja girls in a Fighting game was enough to draw my attention to the series. Also believe it or not the fact that this was a fighting game interested me more than the fan service in it and after playing I got even more Interested in the Story and the Individuality of each character.Of course I still enjoy the Life and Hometown :like:

When I used to view Gameinformer's website I saw it there, and they were mocking it and saying it will never come out herez but I guess they were wrong.
And I decided to check it out and then it got my attention from there on.
