I found the series because I saw an article about Estival Versus on Siliconera. At the time it showed a picture of Ayane from Dead Or Alive. So I checked out the trailer, the game looked crazy so I figured I'd try it.
The characters that probably got me reeled in were Daidouji and Rin. Love their character designs.

Okay so, how I managed to get into SK is pretty random. So, a year (or few) back, I was looking for information on a Dark Souls weapon called Murakumo. One of the results showed me an image of Gessen's Murakumo and I thought "Hey, she looks cool" So I followed the image to be redirected to Kagurapedia (Is that what the wiki is called?) and from there I got to read about the characters and eventually, I ended up here. Basically Murakumo is gateway drug. lol

Well. If you are a dirty anime pleb like me, then you probably love fan service, then getting into the series isn't pretty hard.
I came across the series from a trailer for Burst when it came out for the UK (I'm from US) and it made me laugh cuz the guy kept the game under his bed and I think his mom found it. And I thought "That is totally me xD"
2 years ago was when I got Burst on 3DS, played it a lot, then SK 2 came out, played that as well. Then I watched the anime.
I watched a video of a group of guys reacting to videos and there was a reaction to all the girls in Estival Versus, and it peeked my interest, then I saw it was on PS4. I made my Japanese account and got it. I knew I was deep into the series. Got myself a Vita to play Shinovi Versus. And yeah.
IDK what happened to me. All I know is that I keep preaching about how Estival Versus is and shit and I bought an art book at a con, and I bought the Japanese Special edition for Shinovi Versus and got the Hanzo girls figures. And I bought both copies of the US release for PS4 and PS Vita. I have never gotten addicted to a game series like this before.

I recall seeing a screen shot long ago, never thought much of it because I didn't have a DS. Come to the present and I had received a GameStop gift card. I wanted to try a new game and I saw Senran Kagura EV. Picked it up and the rest is history. I love the game, the anime is okay, and can't wait for future instalments!

Well for me it was my p***y anime friend who succested that I should check out Senran Kagura. First I was a bit like, well... so typical from you but actually after that, I started to search info of characters and about the world and founded out more and more which interested me. I just liked about the unique characters and all having different powers, mixed up to some dark backgrounds them had , mixed to funny group life elements and well, that was it. After years, still a fan and very hyped to see which way Senran Kagura will take on future.

For me it was how Nintendo Eshop describtion of Burst that got me into it. At the time I was looking for a game with some moral conflict. The eshop kinda made Senran Kagura sound like it was that kind of game. Bought it that day and fell in love with it.
