Yeah, I wouldn't go with reaction from the movie either since it's just a cameo but didn't Gaim get a good reaction when he cameo in Wizard's final episode? I don't mean too scary but with the game "Ghost" you sort of expect something a bit more horror based than what we got, then again I haven't seen the transformation or powers yet and I'm hoping for the kind of rivalry that Kouta and Kaito had this time round. Also I'm not asking for lots and lots like what Gaim or Ryuki had but at least have the riders you have more depth to them than just a catch phrase. I'm probably going to see the new movie so I can see Ghost's debut but otherwise I'm not really interested in Drive. Honestly can't wait. No idea, honestly. I think it might've been at the point then that we knew a lot about Gaim already though. Drive actually really picked up. Like... it took it a bit, but around the late 20s, it got really good. Like... I would absolutely recommend catching up with it, if you haven't already. The first 10 or so episodes were so-so and the late teens and early 20s aren't the most stellar either, but once it got in gear (ha! puns), it turned out to be one of the better shows. I think I'd easily rate it above Wizard (not that that's hard) and Fourze, if nothing else. Not sure how it stacks up against W, OOO, and Gaim for me, but I really like those. Anyway, next week is the last episode, and then it's time for Ghost! Actually at the time we didn't know that much about Gaim apart from the fruit and sengoku theme and that urobuchi was writing. Drive did pick up but in the end it just wasn't as good for me. Against W and OOO I would say Drive is a little better just because of the higher production values but for me personally it can't compare to Gaim. Sorry for the late reply but honestly I'm not that impressed with Ghost, obviously it's too early to judge but I'm hoping around the episode 10 mark that it would get darker, also Yongou was released and it's actually really good. Nice throwback for Faiz.

Better than Drive was right now for sure. I like the concepts and the designs, so I hope they do places with it. My worry is more Ninninger. They've had two really good ninja shows so far, yet this one... Isn't...?

Wizard could've been much better and Fourze is what it is, I can't complain about it since it was always meant to be lighthearted. I need to go back to W and OOO but from the movies I don't think both of them can compare to Drive. I like the concepts as well and the design looks awesome, except for the ghost driver, it looks bulky and inconvenient but apart from that I hope they do something awesome with it instead of keeping the single episode resolution thing. I also wish I knew why Ninninger turned out the way it is.

You do not want your show to be Wizard-lite. I do like how Ninninger's apparently had a lot of cameos so far at least, so that's pretty rad. I need to catch up.

Well from the looks of it, episode 5 might be moving things along by introducing Spectre which should if they do it will finally break the single episode stuff. I'm somewhat hopeful because people said ghost had an unsettling debut in the movie so there is some hope that it will be at least interesting. So it's like gokaiger but without the interesting plot and characters.

His appearance in Drive was alright too. Well, not as often. It had some older ninja characters from Metal Hero and Sentai, and a Magiranger is appearing next week too. The references are more thematic, I think? Like how the main group is part of a core group, but then the sixth is a cooky Gold outsider - a lot like how Shinkenger was setup.

It's still under the 10 episode mark so I'm giving it a chance even though I'm not impressed so far either. Hopefully it comes soon instead of halfway through. I saw that and honestly I'm even less of a fan now. Shinkenger's Gold made sense at least, Ninninger doesn't. Maybe it's just me but I feel that Sentai has been getting more goofy as each year go by.

I'll stick through it since it's Kamen Rider, but yeah, it's really not grabbing me. Well, it doesn't not make sense - I think the execution of Shinken Gold was better, though Shinkenger in general is a hard show to top. I actually... really like StarNinger, to be honest, but I can see why people wouldn't. I think it's a kneejerk reaction to Go-Busters. They tried something super experimental with it and when the toys didn't sell (not that they made many to sell in the first place), they abandoned ship, stuffed toys in everything after, and have been playing it safe since. It could also be, though, that because next year is a huge anniversary for Sentai (40 years!), this year might just be a filler year in terms of how they're prioritizing it? Like, they're doing it, but next year might be something they're more concerned with.

I'm just sticking with it since I was promised something good and I just want to see if they'll keep to it and I am sort of unfair to anything after Gaim since it was written so well, it becomes hard to be at least as good as it. It was much much better and the concept was good and fit into the theme of the main 5 while StarNinger sort of doesn't to me, sure story-wise he fits but he kind of doesn't. Go-Busters, looking back on it was actually okay. Sure it didn't live up to Gokaiger or Shinkenger but overall, it was alright. I didn't know it didn't sell well in Japan which does explain why they went with goofy each year moving forward but you may be right and these past few years has been just filler so they can do something amazing for the anniversary which is going for an animal theme this time round (Doubutsu Sentai Jyuuouger), I have hopes it will be better but somehow I'm a little doubtful.
