Most of them are likely to be rejected character designs from when creating SK & Burst. Shinovi's will be those that are yet to be reveal.
This is what the a spin-off should look like, Mr Producer. Not Shinovi VS.
Character 6th - 10th = Hanzo
Character 16th 20th = Hebi

Now watch as those 10 new characters are in Shinovi Versus instead of the original characters. I honestly doubt that they're rejected designs for exisiting characters. This is the video game industry and consumers hardly ever see those ideas brought to life. That happened multiple times during Zelda: Twilight Princess' development period. Edit: Never mind the first part I just noticed the new screenshots for Shinovi. |

I'm disappointed at Silliconera for spelling my darling's name wrong, it's Yomi not Yuri.
Someone in the West should check if this works on a US Smartphone, because some do like Guitar Shoujo and Idolmaster Cinderella Girls.

The thing is theres another 30 to go or 20 if they shinovi versus ones in, then 18 if they include Daidouji and Suzune Ooo image a fighter or any game spin-off with all (50/60/52/62) characters ooo  P.s Anyone think Mirai + [Yozakura weapons] + [(Ryou Sisters x Hibari) eyes] = Muramasa |

Not gonna lie, these character designs are kinda bad in my opinion. They seem to have that rehashed look on some characters, I like Chitose's outfit and Seimei's very relaxed outfit, love the house shoes. |

Considering they still have Homura, etc, as being 2nd year Hebijou students I don't think the new Shinovi Versus characters will appear, but I may be mistaken.
It's a given some of them may seem similar to some of the older character, like Ayame whose boots are pretty much the same as Katsuragi's, but I really like the new designs. Hijikata is wearing like knights armour ffs, how ridiculous.

I wonder if any of the new characters will end up as DLC addons for Shinovi Versus?
(Or with cameos in the upcoming anime, for that matter.)

By the way, it's impossible to sign up if you don't live in Japan as you need an au/Docomo/Softbank email address to register for Gree, the service it's running on.
So yeah, don't get too excited as this is even more region locked than the 3DS games (at least you can import a 3DS...).
