So I've been porting quite a few models to SFM (Source Film Maker) recently. I don't know if there's many people here who use SFM, but I have the character models from SK2. (got them through performing a ROM Dump of my Japanese physical copy of the game) so the question is... would anyone want these models ported to SFM? as these are quite some work to port it'd be nice to know which models people want the most if they have interest in them. I'll be porting yomi for sure, others I am not sure of yet. also for those wondering why not XNA Lara/XPS (whatever you want to call it) or MMD (miku miku dance), I don't know how to export models to those posing tools current WIP Yomi (Don't mind the weird looking textures) (currently no breast bones (Sorry)) 2 examples of other models I ripped, but haven't done anything with (yet): {Spoiler} I currently also only have the models from SK2 (and SK burst, If i wanted to have those too) available, so I can only work with the character models from those two games

I'd love to see some Senran Kagura stuff ported to SFM. I don't use the program as much as I'd like to, but I really like working it. Needless to say, I'd love to see Murasame on the Workshop. :>

thanks to cavaco for giving me the updated version of the 3DS model tool. I could re-extract the character models with propper rigging, I hope to soon actually get the girls into SFM. and for Murasame port Murasame too

Maya on the left. 3ds max 2012 on the right. both have dumb issues... things just don't want to go right with me porting these models >.> maya can parent bones fine so i can put the head and hair on and it can also render the models correctly. 3ds max doesn't ruin the model rigging, and I can easily fix mesh errors like double vertecies or smoothing issues there.... *sigh* oh well... i'll figure something out eventually. the porting is just going to take longer than expected... I found out about this issue after spending some time trying to assemble naraku. only to find out that in maya her rigging had become completely messed up :/ poor quality naraku render:

It's the xnalara extension, I can only use that for the posing for 3d renders.

ASUKA IS NOW A PLAYABLE CHARACTER! with 0 abilities whatsoever! WHOOOOO~! ... well... she can jump and run around I guess? So to clarify, I made this in unreal 4 using SK2 assets I got from my physical copy of SK2 by dumping the files, I'm making this to get more experience with working in Unreal 4. I doubt I'll ever release this Unreal 4 project (you know... legal reasons), and I will certainly NOT be making/porting the full game in Unreal 4 (unless Marevlous/Takaki contacts me... LOL! as if!). I made this because I have some time off and felt like doing something with my time off study (I'm a student in game design and production). I might post some videos of this when I have my new hardware, and if this project is to any state that i'd feel ok with showing it in motion. right now it's very bare bones, and there's issues in a lot of places. BUT that said I shared these screenshots because I think y'all over here are nice/cool people. that and I like teasing the stuff I'm working on I also like tripple posting in my own threads, I dunno how this forum feels about doubble(/tripple posting) but eh? just sharing more fun stuff

I know that this is something that is kinda off topic, but can you also extract sounds and musics from the games?
If you record a video with those sounds I think it would be nice to show the results to the public!
I also ask this because I can't find the karaoke version of the SK2 theme (Hikari to Yami no Kanata) anywhere! I want to use it for a lot of purposes including making a mashup, so any help would be appreciated! lol

SK2's audio format is BCSTM, I know there is a tool to convert it, but I haven't messed with it much. I'll see if i can do something with it, but I don't know when I'll get to it.
