If a new game is announced and it's a not a Bon Appetit like spinoff, it'll probably be a PS4 game. Maybe PS4/Vita but I'm leaning to more a PS4 exclusive. There has been a lot going for the PS4 in Japan and there is VR stuff coming up he'll think about that.
I'm sure it is connected to the recent polls on Twitter. I have a feeling it might be a spin-off just like Bon Appetit. They could also continue the overall story but add new features like the waterguns. I personally hope for the second. I doubt it is going to be released as a certain console's exclusive. It doesn't feel right to me. I believe they are going to do the same as Estival Versus !!!!

I hope they release a new installment for the 3DS in the style of Burst and Deep Crimson. I still have attachment to Burst because of how close that game was to the older arcade beat-em-ups, which I feel doesn't get nearly the amount of love it should in today's games.

Personally, I'm hoping for a PS4 exclusive, whether it's a game from one of the two continuities or a spin off. An exclusive game could definitely raise the quality of said game along with a good budget.

I'm hoping we're due for another dual game announcement. As far as the 3DS goes, I'm looking forward to what gameplay ideas Takaki has next after the interesting approach he took with Deep Crimson. And with the release date of PSVR drawing near, I can't imagine Takaki not working on another game for PS4 with the headset partially in mind. Whatever this event is, it's the fifth anniversary; I think we're in for a surprise.
And throwing realism completely out the window, those Twitter polls from awhile ago gave me hope that the world might actually see a good dodgeball video game. I absolutely love dodgeball.

Coming from someone who owns all the consoles (technically don't own a PS4 though in full), I can see almost no reason to put in on the 3DS. It'd make no sense from a gameplay, production, fanservice, or money making perspective. Arguing it should be on 3DS because obligations to Nintendo fans is like saying monster hunter should just stick to Sony home consoles. Since EV sold the best in the west and can only do better with a PC release, along with how well the PS4 has been doing, it should really be at least a PS4 game. But Takaki makes questionable and stupid decisions as seen in the past year with his two other projects.
