I need to get this out there. The green-haired and the maid-clothed enemies are annoying! They're so powerful and quick it's irritating trying to complete inochigake mode. There's a level in both Burst and the original that takes place in the onsen stage, it's practically impossible to complete the stage without any luck. You just have to hope that they delay their attacks for a second longer so you can get in there. /rant over

Think Kid Icarus: Uprising, except much harsher. Like the highest difficulty in Uprising? That was brutal *shivers*

Yep, there are no difficulties to set in the game but each mission has a number of shuriken indicating its difficulty level. However those aren't good indicators at all. Some level 4 difficulty missions are really easy but then this one is pretty much the hardest level in the game. There're level 5 difficulty missions easier than that level. It's all because of the enemy type they put in there. The green-haired are very strong and very quick. As soon as it hits you once you might aswell give up as it traps you and sucks your HP in seconds. The same for the maids. They're different in that they keep their distance and shoot you with their arm mounted gun. They're harmless up close but as soon you get hit by one of their shots then you'll get hit by 5 or 6 more of them with no way to escape.

They are almost like the maid but once you get hit by the bomb your dead. you can't even see where the attack came from and there is no way to tech the hit like the maids so they get a free follow up usaly another bomb and you are dead. at least with the maids if you tech the first hit of the shot when you are in the air you can go right in to the air ninpou, this is why i jump alot in this mode because being on the ground is a death wish, there is no way to tech or shake away from any attack. Those damn bomb girls though they always can still kill you easy. Geen haird girls if you used your limit break your dead.

I never have too much trouble with the bomb girls. It's just the two I've mentioned that always give me a hard time. I do too spend most of the time in the air in inochigake mode whilst using the X attack as it takes out enemies in 1 hit most of the time. Problem is Ikaruga doesn't have a good jump and X attack like the others as hers goes horizontal rather than vertical. But I happened upon a nice combo. I kept using X > A and repeating that. It makes a nice unstoppable attack.

You could say this is a criticism. There are way too many bugs in this game. Recently I came across one which made Katsuragi's attack from the air (when you're in the air and press X they lunge towards the ground) really, really slowly. It was like it was in slow motion. She took a good minute to reach the floor. I've only come across this twice and I'm not sure how to replicate it.
However I have come across a bug that works every time. You're unable to defeat the final boss with Ikaruga's Super special move:
It worked every time I tried this out. I'm not sure what the requirements are but in this situation Ikaruga is level 50 and I've selected Youran mode (hence why she sounds so angry/excited).

This whole time I was trying with the first ninpou. oh to get out of it I heard you have to open and close the 3ds alot. brb going to try this Edit: yup open and close 3DS to end the combo. I can just taste the bugs the vita game will have.

Those burly schoolgirls in Yang mode, if there are more than 2 then you usually have to kiss your ass goodbye, you are going t be KOed unless you use Mirai, Yomi, or Yagyuu. Those Robots are a pain in Yang mode, those missiles can OHKO at low levels.

I can just taste the bugs the vita game will have. I didn't think to try that. The number of bugs in the game is pretty silly. Countless times I've seen that purple gas one enemy spews linger on the battlefield after all enemies were defeated. Plus there was the time when, during a level in which you just have to defeat all enemies I don't remember which but it's the stage that leads up to the red temple, I got to the very end and for some reason the mission didn't end but the right-most blue barrier disappeared after defeating the enemies which meant I could run around the level. Oh and there's the bug in one of the missions in which you have to survive 3 minutes. I believe it's Hibari's training mission in the 4th set. If you stand at the rightmost part of the screen and just keep jumping + X attack, the enemies stop spawning. You can literally stand around for the remaining time and not have to do anything. I think it only works with Hibari and Yagyuu because their X in the air is to throw the shuriken + kunai. I kind of want there to be bugs in the Vita game. Just image a bug that removes the light smudge and faces covering those areas. Everyone would rejoice.

Takaki is a shitty liar. He promised lots of features for Burst and marketed it as a sequel, then all those features went into Shinovi Versus and Burst became a remake.
Everything that is left to do for 3DS owners now is to wait for the announcement of the real Vita sequel. Because you really didn't believe Takaki when he said that the main series will stay on 3DS, did you?
