But I told you all this before. when it comes to these kind of games its a safer bet to be on a Sony system in the long run because sales for the game does not matter, the games and the anime are all ads for the products like the toys. Hoppy said he was getting that Mirai figure and that is as much as a game. Thats the plan and it has never changed. This plan can not work on a nintendo system because those type of people that buy those products are not there in numbers and thats who they are targeting. Go to any japanese site that has a bunch of ads for those figures and pillows and all of those games or series are on a Sony system, Its a market Nintendo does not spend money on or care about so why even complain.
I said this along time ago on all the boards I go to and now you want to be suprised about calculated results. also the 3DS's owners should have not sent him death threats. Did you know this happend. Yeah so If I was in his shoes I would do the same. He even had to pull support and promotion on Burst because the fans got to out of hand. its only a game but once you cross that line forget it why should he care. he has his life and family to worry about.

And even if that's true, why did Takaki promise new features in the Nintendo Dream interview from 2011 - features that ended up in Shinovi Versus instead of in Burst? No matter what business excuse there is, you don't go out promising things like that if you're not 100 % certain that you can keeep your promise. If you're not that certain, then you shut up. If the otaku market was a Sony exclusive, then why did the original and Burst do so well on 3DS? They did better than MAQL's expectations. How do you explain that? And how do you explain that MAQL started the series on 3DS instead of on Vita if Sony console are the only ones with a market for these kind of games? It seems to me this board is actually full of Sony and Vita fanboys who are super happy that the Vita games sold better than the 3DS ones, and thus defends MAQL and Takaki with all their might. How many people here were fans enough to import a Japanese 3DS and the Kagura games instead of just talking about them? Huh? I'm not a fanboy, because I can understand the rage of Vita owners when Capcom put Monster Hunter 4 on the 3DS. This is a similar betrayal, although not as epic in scale since MonHun is a much bigger franchise with many more fans than Senran Kagura. |

I don't wanna join in the heated discussion but just wanted to points some things out. And how do you explain that MAQL started the series on 3DS instead of on Vita if Sony console are the only ones with a market for these kind of games? Simple. It was the 3D. At the time it the console came out Takaki thought he wanted to make something for it, 30 seconds later he thought of breasts and Senran Kagura. Also the Vita released 3 months after the first game came out. You might say he could've had a production kit before the console came out so he could've released SK for the Vita. But that comes back to the first point I made; it was the 3D feature. It seems to me this board is actually full of Sony and Vita fanboys who are super happy that the Vita games sold better than the 3DS ones, and thus defends MAQL and Takaki with all their might. How many people here were fans enough to import a Japanese 3DS and the Kagura games instead of just talking about them? Huh? I imported a 3DS because of the first game. But the 3D is not really the point here, we were discussing how different the market is for 3DS and Vita. That has nothing to do with the 3D effect. If they didn't believe there were otakus in the 3DS market, MAQL would never have greenlighted the game in the first place.
Well, me too. Of course not everyone here is a Sony/Vita fanboy, but considering how much people are willing to ignore Takaki's lies, I bet there ARE many Sony/Vita fanboys here. Especially considering the Vita is not region locked (meaning they don't have to buy new hardware just to play Senran Kagura).
The only way MAQL and Takaki can redeem themselves now is by announcing Senran Kagura 2 for 3DS with vastly improved everything - from graphics to gameplay and features. If they announce another game for the Vita now, he's been 100 % proven a shitty liar who should feel completely ashamed of himself.

Once you own a game and spend money then you can talk. he has not takin your money am I right? So he has not affected you.

I have the super rare Yomi oshiri mousepad and three oppai mousepads, plus all the manga, the boob pillow and the Hibari dakimakura. I'm a serious fan, and that's why I'm so angry and disappointed on Takaki and MAQL. |

This whole thing about PSVita vs 3DS reminds me a lot to Sonic the Hedgehog.
Because Sega Deamcast was a totally flop (fail), Sega has no other choice but sell their Sonic games in the Gamecube. Soooo many Sega fanboys exploded in rage because of that decision.
In 2003, when Sega release Sonic Heroes for Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox, soooooo many Nintendo fanboys got mad, too.
I don't really care if the next game will be on Vita or 3DS. I just want a real good game that i can enjoy playing it, over and over again. Also, Senran Kagura isn't an exclusive console game, like Super Mario or something else.
