I know darn well that when the ps4 comes out, they can configure it to allow us to play games that uses the touch screen. If that happens, the PS Vita TV will be completely awesome. For the time being, it's partially awesome in my opinion. DualShock 4......think about it. Yeah...I can already tell.

the only thing that sucks is....DS4 is $60. =_= back in the day Controllers were like $30 or less...and that's for 1st party branded PS1 Dualshock controllers...like seriously over the span of a few generations the price doubled....or steadily got more expensive....depends on how you look at it. End result is that we got sooo much tech going on in these controllers, is it all really needed? To be fair, there was very few games I used Sixaxis for on my PS3. I hope that the touch pad for the DS4 isn't a Dead idea a year after it's been on the market. One thing I can get 100% behind though is the share button, In a post on another forum I broke down the Life with Playstation trailer explaining things like the share button, remote play, and streaming. Link
err I'm rambling again....

Hmm...I'm gonna wait and see what the DS4 can really do first.

DS4 looks legit though, the new analog sticks look good and the touch pad is "click-able" along with the changes to the triggers so, it seems like it will be overall a upgrade from DS3(I have grown fond of the PS controller design over the years).
Comparing this directly with the XBO controller is a tough, I would buy the XBO controller for a standalone controller for my PC since there are a fair amount of PC games I play that would benefit from having a controller(PSO2). That and MS had addressed the issue of the "hockey puck" of a D-Pad on the 360 controller. However I'm still ticked off at the fact it still requires AA Batteries....like seriously were are in 2013...Sony and Nintendo have standardized rechargeable internal batteries. I've yet to have a DS3 die out on me...but I've had more than a few 360 controllers plug a play kits go out.
Ultimately though, I think what is going to give the DS4 the true advantage is that share button. Seamless sharing of content between the PS4 to social networks and other outlets will pretty much give the PS4 the leg up in sales to casuals and hardcore gamers alike. It almost makes you wish that Marvelous would make a PS4 Senran Kagura...I think I know what exactly we'll be sharing~

If they do make a SK on PS4, which is possible, I might jizz myself...but then someone might kill me for it. .___.

err I'm rambling again.... Given PS4 is reasonable $400 I am not that upset about DS4 costs. On the touch pad I agree that for PS4 games it will likely be a six axis type feature. However, this PS Vita TV means it could have significant usage for those titles making the touch pad worth much more than before.

However, this PS Vita TV means it could have significant usage for those titles making the touch pad worth much more than before. Granted that DS4 is supported by the Vita TV and Vita games are configured for the usage of it's touch pad and hopefully....Share button. The Vita TV has already sold out on pre-orders,(not sure if that is just 1 retailer or a specific model) but the Japanese are hyped for that thing, more so than the Vita 2000. Lets hope Developers/Publisher don't do get sucked into the downwards spiral of, No console sales = No game development/Localization shenanigans we went through with the PSP. Sony is trying to move units now, Developers need to get behind this thing and push for more games and localization because even as digital only.

Really? Demand that high, impressive.
I wonder when it will be out in NA. Maybe inverse with Japan getting PS4 in February, then NA gets VTV in Spring?

The hype for it in NA and EU won't be the same but it might be big.

Dude Drifty Leon is Lady Blanc so it would be weird for her to kill herself o.O and Blanc getting sony stuff hmm.... i guess her and Noire are friends after all lol. And for the DS4 i haven't seen what it is capable of yet.

That's part of the problem, only a select thousand of people even know what the DS4 feels like in their hands. We don't have much to go on except what they have told us and being the first to state the obvious, they are trying to sell a product so of course they will try to glorify it. Thing is though, imo the DS4 does look very solid already. So I can't speak for others but I won't have any real issues with the ergonomics of the controller, on the technical side on how durable it is....it's something we have to do ourselves with trial and error once the thing is out in the wild.

Hopefully after the PS4 comes out, a lot more people who don't want to get the PS4 yet, can try it out at places like Game Stop.

I adore the DS and every iteration that's follow. I have fully confidence DS4 will be fine controller.
